During her tenure as a school leader, she helped develop innovative programs that fostered community engagement, strategic partnerships, and authentic/real-world learning opportunities rooted in DEIB practices for students and staff.
Kirsten loves spending time with her husband and daughter reading anything written and illustrated by Rachel Ignotofsky, a family favorite author.

Eric Bunch, a dedicated nonprofit professional and community advocate, brings a wealth of experience and a fervent commitment to education equity to his role of Development Manager at Turn the Page KC. With over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, including impactful contributions as a co-founder of BikeWalkKC, Eric has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive positive change and enhance community well-being. Serving his second term as a city council member in Kansas City, he has a proven track record of championing policies that promote education access, affordable housing, and sustainable urban development. In his capacity as Development Manager, Eric leverages his expertise to secure resources and foster collaborations, furthering Turn the Page KC's mission to elevate childhood literacy and educational opportunities for all in Kansas City. Eric lives in Midtown KCMO with his wife Kaitlyn and three elementary school age children. They can often be found biking, exploring the city, or rock climbing.
