We often are asked, “How do I turn my child into a reader?”

It’s a great question! As your child grows up, he or she will learn how to talk, listen, read, and write through play and interaction. Reading on grade level means that he or she has mastered the skills necessary to read and understand words at the expected level of difficulty. Parents have an important role to play to ensure that their child is reading on grade level by the end of 3rd grade. Click the links below for a few tips to help turn your child into a reader.
